About the food:

All food and wine for this event are locally sourced. What does that mean? It means that all of the food and ingredients come from local farms. Most of these ingredients come from Medina County farms, and ingredients that are not produced within the County are produced in Ohio. So this event aims to connect residents with the local agriculture of Medina and Ohio.

About the chef:

John Kolar is a skilled and experienced chef, creating an amazing meal from local food, paired with local wine. John owns Thyme 2 on Medina Square, a local hot spot featuring contemporary cuisine. Read more about John and his restaraunt here.

About the cause:

Feeding Medina County is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization helping to feed families in need in Medina County. They run several programs including delivering food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank to local food pantries and distributing food to needy children, families, and seniors here in Medina County. About Medina Farm Bureau:

The mission of Medina Farm Bureau is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers. This means advocating for Ohio’s farm families on issues that help them in business and, in turn, provide nonfarmers a wide variety of food choices. Medina Farm Bureau focuses on supporting Medina County Farmers and consumers. Read more about Medina Farm Bureau here.

About Creek Bend Ranch:

Creek Bend Ranch is a family owned and operated bucking bull ranch. The Thorsells believe in strong family values and giving back to the community in which they live and work and that each event gives them opportunity to partner and support a local charity.
