Date: July 31 – Aug 5
Medina County Farm Bureau is excited to, once again, offer Agricultural Acre at this year’s Medina County Fair! And we could use help from members! Sign up to help keep an eye on things in the tent as well as pass out ice cream for the scavenger hunt. The tent has hatching chicks, a lassoing station, corn box, milking cow (fiberglass), miniature horses, and more! Great for all ages!
Those signing up for a shift will be offered 1 of 2 options for a thank you item: either an admission pass OR a voucher for Raber’s ice cream. If you want the admission pass, please provide your address (otherwise, you will have the opportunity to claim an ice cream voucher at the fair).
Note – the Sunday July 30th shift is unique and is for the Fair Kickoff Picnic. All shifts during the fair are at the Agricultural Acre tent.
Date: Aug 22
This year’s farm to table dinner will be hosted by Overlook Hill Farm and the food will be prepared by Chef Anthony at 111 Bistro. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Hope Recovery Farm.
We are in need of volunteers to assist with the following:
8/22 noon: Table setting and decorating assistance
8/22 5 pm: Event assistance (parking, serve and clear tables, etc.)
8/22 9 pm: Tear down assistance
If any of these service areas appeal to your interests or skill sets, we would greatly appreciate your help! If you are interested in helping, please call the office or email us at medina@ofbf.org.
