Welcome Lindsay Shoup, Organization Director for Medina, Ashland, Wayne, & Holmes

Lindsay Shoup of Orrville is the new Ohio Farm Bureau Federation organization director for Ashland, Holmes, Medina and Wayne counties. She succeeds John Fitzpatrick, who recently retired after 18 years in the position.

Shoup will work with the counties and Ohio Farm Bureau to develop and implement programs and activities that strengthen their organizations, serve their members and bring about positive change in their communities.

Shoup received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Ohio State University and a master’s in animal science from the University of Illinois. While at Illinois she worked as a research specialist and lab manager. She has participated in OFBF’s Young Ag Professionals program. Shoup is involved with the family swine operation and attends Orrville Christian Church.

Ohio Farm Bureau is the state’s largest and most inclusive farm and food organization. Its mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers.
