Every year American Farm Bureau Federation recognizes the top county Farm Bureau programs across the country through its County Activities of Excellence awards, and this year eight of the nation’s top 24 county Farm Bureau programs came from Ohio.
Medina County Farm Bureau won for our Ag Facts that we run in the Medina Post. Check out all of our Ag Facts here. The ads were seasonally timed to coordinate with the commodity being harvested or planted at the time. The ads contained easy-to-read facts and interesting trivia to connect readers with what they were seeing on farms during their daily commutes.
At the convention, American Farm Bureau President, Zippy Duvall, visited all the county excellence booths. The picture above shows Zippy with Katie Guilliford, Rita Hechmer of Ohio Farm Bureau Media Department and Debbie Indoe.
